Home Depot have a site online where they sell most of these items rather than in their stores. Check this site:

Hi,
a 6ya Repairman can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Repairman (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

How do I reverse the direction of the fan blades to counter-clockwise on the fan? The fan is a Hampton Bay ''Clarington'' with a remote control.

There is a small black switch on the switch housing directly under the blades. When the fan is completely off, move the switch to the opposite direction.

if you have connected power directly to the fan motor and it doesn't turn...replace the fan.  However, also check the switches on the fan as you may have bumped them.

Fan running & stops then goes the opposite direction

Your Hampton Bay combo probably was installed incorrectly. A frequent cause of erratic operation is a conflict between the remote control and the wall switch.
