Question about Amana 3.2 cu. ft. Top-Load Washer
I have an Amana lwg65aw washing machine. I can see that I ned to remove the front cover and replace the belt. How do I take the pump off to replace the belt? It has three points where it is connected but I cannot see how to remove it?
You shouldn't have to remove the pump to replace the belt. The motor mount can be loosened and the motor moved so the belt will fit over all pulleys without removing the components.
Loosen motor, move it in, install belt, move motor out to correct belt tension, tighten motor mounts.
