Ok sir! maybe you have defective color crystal carrier! thats why your unit is in lost of color!

This is the most common problem for rear projection tvs and it is known as the color convergence problem.You will need to replace or repair its ics to solve it.

This is unusual for this model, can you tell me what source you use for signal? Cable? Sat? Direct TV? Also how are you connected----via the coax fitting or the rear AV jacks.

Hi,Yes your problem sounds like the DMD board.This is how it works: Basically the light of the lamp goes through a tunnel that carries a color wheel(rotating disc with a gamma of colors that creates the colors on your tv)then the light of the lamp goes through the DMD board which is a chip composed of around 2 million pixels that creates the images and colors.When it starts to fail it will create black bars,pixelation,color distortion or white dots on screens.Found it right here Have a blessed one!

Hi,it definetely sounds like the color wheel.The color wheel is a rotating disc that has a gamma of colors it spins at high rpms.The light of the lamp goes through it to create the colors on your tv.When it starts to go bad you will get color distortion ,black and white picture and sometimes you will hear humming noises.Found your color wheel here: Have a bless one!
