Thats crazy well you could put it back on but how would you know that the magnet is perfectly centered so that the voice coil doesnt rub against it? How could you make it bond with the frame so that it doesnt come off again? HMMMMMM-cant take it back to the shop where you got it and exchange it? If it were me and i had no other choice-Id get some "liquid metal" and center it as well as i could and just epoxy that ****** right back to the frame unless i knew somebody who could tack weld it -Im not that lucky though so yup try some epoxy or liquid metal or some sort of super strong adhesive

What size box should i build fro two pioneer 12inch speakers 1200watts each

For optimal performance there is really only one size for the box .Firstly, you get two different types of subwoofers, an open air, or closed air sub. If it is an open air sub ( hole with mesh in the center of the magnet) no ports are required, and the box should be sealed on the inside with silicone sealant. If it is a closed air sub ( no hole in the magnet) you need a 50mm port about 120mm long. If it is a 12 inch speaker, the box size will be 13 inches x 13 inches x 13 inches.

Why do some subs have a double stacked magnet

Think of the magnets on the sub as a engine, more magnets like an engine means more power, that relates to stronger push/pull on the speaker gainning more travel, quicker response, tighter more stable, cleaner bass, remember though that needs a better stronger amp to take advantage of all that speaker has to offer, have fun and good luck!

I have a 12 inch ORION HCCA dvc, 4ohm sub. My

Halving the impedance will draw twice the current. You could technically get a 3 Db more power since the peak voltage will remain the same. BUT if the magnet structure is not intended to use that cone design, the magnet difference MAY not give you 2 ohms.

In fact, if the designed magnetic flux were smaller, you could wind up with a 1 ohm speaker.

trying to get that much power is really kind of silly as even 50 watts with efficient speakers will exceed safe levels of sound that will not cause damage to your ears.

As you push an amp up in power, usually distortion will increase as well.

Magnet fell off one of the top speaker on my soundsticks

this just happened to me and i used two twisty ties for garbage bags to fix the problem.

thread them through the holes in the top speaker, the one that's loose. then simply pull it back into place. you'll hear a satisfying "click."
