GO TO POWER SETTINGS IN THE CONTROL PANEL AND CHANGE YOUR SETTINGS TO ALWAYS ON. BUT LEAVE HIBERNATION ON IF YOU WANT IT TO SAVE POWER. YOU MAY HAVE TO TURN THIS OFF ALSO.

The wireless mouse works but the laser 5000

press connect on the wireless device...let go and then within 5 seconds press the button on the bottom of the keyboard. Repeat the same steps for the mouse whther its working or not. The problem usually is that the keyboard and mouse are on the same "Wireless Channel" and only resyncing them puts them on a seperate channel, hope this helps.
