I have the exact same problem. Dropped my phone into the toilet very breifly. I grabbed it out straight away and it was still on and working. I then took it apart and dried it in the sun ( very little water got inside ) it was working fine, then hours later while texting started vibrating on and off. Now it is continually vibing and wont stop. I have tried everything- taking the battery out and putting it back in several times, switching vibrate off and then on, adjusting sound settings you name it. The only time it doesnt vibrate is when the battery is completely out. As soon as it goes back in the vibing starts right back up. HELP ME!!

My phone barely got wet at all but wont stop viberating either.everthing else works fine. i set it on a table to go on the computer and the viberating just stopped and i dont know why but right after that it just started viberating again. i got some tips from some other people that didnt work 4 me but it might work 4 u. u could try doing a master reset which just taking out the battery when the phone is on and it resets or u can try blowing on the battery in case it somehow got some dust on it.

Lg vx6100 won't turn on or charge

There may be liquid damage present. First using a flashlight, inspect the battery contacts and data/charging socket for green mold/water damage. If nothing unusual is discovered you could disassemble and inspect the inner circuit boards for white residue that would be left behind from water calcium, clean the calcium from the circuit board with a slightly wet toothbrush and dry with compressed air or a hair dryer.

My Safelink Wireless phone got wet while I was out in a recent storm and hasn't worked since. What do you suggest I do?

Not a good thing to happen, you can try taking battery and covers off and leaving the phone in a warm dry place for a few days and hope that all the internal componts will dry and that they have not been damaged. Otherwise you will have to replace the phone.

Check the battery first, connect into charger. If phone was wet, you need to clean it in isopropanol. Or just dry for few days (you can use hair dryer) carefull to dont overheat phone. Even if you think phone is dry it can be still wet. Check if connectors from charger are not dirty. (Check charger, and battery) best way is to borrow battery from friends phone

How can I disengage the vibrate mode? It is on all the time, even when the phone is off. The phone got wet but still works in every other respect. How can I turn it off?

it like your phone has short circuit caused by water
try open your phone, then use hair dryer to dry the phone board from water that make your phone wet, if it was dry try to turn on your phone and check the vibration
