How do you keep rock from sliding off of the plastic on elevated soil around a foundation

Add more rock.

Rock has an "angle of repose", the angle at which it forms its own natural slope. If you pour sugar into a little pile, you can see sugar's angle of repose as the angle of the pile's sides. Rock is the same, but has its own angle of repose. If rock is sliding off your plastic, it's not built up enough yet to maintain its angle of repose, so you have to add more rock to get it to that state... after which it should stay stable.

If you don't get any response from touching screen when you turn it on, it could be your touch screen needs replacing.

How to change the lens/digitizer on my samsung finesse?

I just did this myself so here's what I learned. The kit I got was $12.00 and it came with 2 little Phillips head screwdrivers and a 'pry' tool. The pry tool is very cheesy and when bent will cause little tiny plastic crumbs that will cause problems so beware of this and try to minimize this from happening.

  1. Power Down (of course)
  2. Remove battery
  3. Remove 4 little screws (easily seen)
  4. This back plate (that surrounds the battery) is simply snapped on underneath the screen/front frame so what has to happen is you have to squeeze in the sides with finger tips or nails while gently working the back (little sections at a time) away from the front frame. NOTE: only the back not the 'phone guts' is removed.
  5. Remove the 1 screw holding the plastic frame around the front 'Answer/Hang Up' buttons.
  6. On the top right of the back of the 'phone guts' there is a tiny ribbon cable that comes thru from the touch screen AKA the digitizer that slides into a plastic plug on the circuit board. Notice how it loops under that small section of board with the 2 brass clips on the top side and be sure not to loop this ribbon cable in those 2 clips during reassembly. Mine came unplugged so I didn't see how it was supposed to be and it looks like it's supposed to slide in thru those clips. IT will NOT work if you allow this!
  7. On the sides there are a few little clips/tabs that hold the 'phone guts' in place. Gently work those to release the face with touch screen attached.
  8. At this time you should be holding the face of the phone with the touch screen stuck in it. The touch screen is just that, 'stuck in it' with a thin layer of 3M two sided tape. This is an actual 'part' because it is cut to fit around the outer edges and completely around the 'Answer/Hang Up' buttons. I cannot find this part. There was a place on the web at however they say in stock but say that they are experiencing temporary fulfillment delays and are unable to fulfill orders for this item. So be very careful when slowly lifting up on the digitizer as it will break and leave plastic shards to stick on this sticky tape and if you use the pry tool and plastic crumbs break off they too will stick. The problem this actually causes is that normally the screen is recessed a tiny bit so when you lay the phone face down the outer edges won't allow the screen to touch the table and scratch or damage it. Also, if the screen has some foreign object under it near the 'Answer/Hang Up

My LG versa's touch screen just stopped working. help?

My phone has the same problem, its a specific manufacturing problem with the versa which makes the screen just stop working randomly after a year, all the buttons and screen work, but it has no touch responsiveness. I read on a forum that holding it over a heating vent for a little got it to work or using a hair dryer on it for 30 seconds but only temporarily. I recommend adding a new line to your plan and getting a new phone until you can close the old line.

My Htc Touch pro screen, looks like it has a large wet spot in the middle, i know for a fact it hasn't been near water, my screen is totally visable but not able to use by touching the screen, what could...

I suggest taking it to your compaany store but before you go to the store and have them tell u the phone is water damaged, you can save yourself the trip by looking for yourself. There should be a little square located in the back of you phone right below the battery and a little square locatedd on the batery where it connects to the phone. If the phone has water damage then the littl e squares should be red if they dont have water damage, the squares should be white with a plaid kind of design.
