Question about Nokia 6270 Cellular Phone
I've a post paid connection which I've been using for the last 3 years. When I insert a new SIM and start, it'll ask me "Start without a SIM. Accept/Reject?" I obviously has to choose reject since there is no point in accepting as the phone is not detecting the new SIM. This is not a problem with the New SIM card as I've tried multiple SIM cards which work in other phones. But my phone still accepts the same old SIM what I've been using all the time. Is there any hidden setting which can make my phone(a normal phone) accept any SIM card?
I think you have activated this sim only lock. This should be found under security menu. Try unlocking i first. If none works, you may consider flashing the phone if you need the phone working.

I have no solution because mine has the same problem and it is very annoying but I have so advice. If your old SIM card was orange ,and you have swapped to a different network ,you have to cancel your phone from orange.

It means, your SIM card is not connecting with the Ports of the SIM...
Make sure to connect it properly...
