Question about Toto Toilet Onepiece Ultramax MS854114SL.12

Toto toilet - inadequate flushing

We have two Toto toilets. They are the low, one-piece types with elongated bowls, both the same model, but I can't remember the model #. One works great. The other (about 8-10 years old) has a very weak flush, meaning liquid may go down, but solids are difficult to get down. I don't think it is clogged, just flushing action doesn't have much oomph to it and it runs very quietly for about 15 seconds after the water has finished refilling. I thought I'd take a look at it today and I don't recognize any of the inside parts from my prior toilets so I'm at a loss. Inside the tank, the white mechanism on the left says "Hunter" and on the right side there is a white plastic flap. Any ideas for a fix would be helpful. Thanks.

Yes, the water comes out from under the rim of our Toto Supreme. But the water does not go down the drain with much pressure. In fact, it barely goes down at all sometimes. So, we can use it for liquid waste, but solids usually just hang around in the bowl. We then have to flush many times to clear the bowl. This toilet worked fine for several years. Then we began to hear a running noise just after the tank had finished refilling for about 10 seconds, and then the flushing became weak. Our other toilet in the house, same model, handles everything just fine.

If this has been the case since the toilet was in stalled the problem is probably with the venting of the plumbing lines. try switching the toilets and seeing if it still happens with the "good" toilet.

The water level in my Toto Drake toilet bowl is normal right after a flush, but often is very low a few hours later.

The bowl is cracked and is leaking down the drain. You will have to replace it. It may have cracked if the bowl hold-down bolts were overtightened, or the bowl was not able to sit flush (pardon the pun) on the floor. If the bowl rocks when it is first installed, instead of tightening the hold-down bolts, use a couple of tapered shims under the edge of it, then caulk to fill the gap and hide the shims.
Good luck.

Charlesnapostolou@yahoo.comI went to flush my Toto toilet and it would not flush. I took the cover off and discovered that the chain was still attached to the horizontal bar but nothing else. To what do...

There is a piece thats actually called the flapper. It is a rubber flap that has a hing on it and is attached to the bottom of the tank. When you flush, the chain pulls this flap up and allows the water to go out of the tank into the bowl. Attach the chain to the unhinged side of this flapper. Hope this helped.

G-max flushing system is not filling to proper level

Is it not refilling the tank or the bowl? I've got a toto also that is not fully refilling the bowl after each flush. No leaks or other problems. Tank refills fine. Seems that the flapper doesn't float long enough to allow a sufficient amount of water to drain into the bowl before closing. Any ideas?

Toto C100 Toilet Washlet Seat

There are two types of bowls as far as toilets are concerned...elongated and round front. The seats are interchangable as long as there isn't anything different in the way the seat is mounted to the toilet. As far as I know and my experiance with both brands, I can't see any reason why it would not work.
