Question about Dell Latitude D610 Notebook
I can't get the sound to work when I played a movie in Dell latitude D610 laptop. There was closed caption on but I didn't know how to turn that off. I adjusted the volume but that didn't help
Are you playing a video from the Internet or something you put in your CD/DVD drive?
Go to "My Computer" - right click and go to "Properties". See if anything has a yellow exclamation point. If this is by your sound card it means there is a problem with the driver.
The first thing I would recommend if you do not have any yellow signs there is to go to your sound card in the list. Right click and delete it. Restart your computer. When your laptop restarts the "Found New Hardware" wizard should appear and will automatically install and update your audio drivers. You might need to have your original Windows CD.
Give me more information and I should be able to help you if the above doesn't work.
