Installing mio pocket on Sanyo 4370

I am trying to get Mio pocket 2.0 R40 installed on my Sanyo 4370 model and cannot get it to work. I followed the instructions for both the SDFree and SD installations and no success. Found a youtube video of some one successful, but that doesnt tell the steps to install. I am presuming the device is a non MIO model.. and followed the same Please help Thanks Does anyone know whether installing Mio Pocket files will mess up other features of Sanyo NVM 4370??

As long as you did not delete any of the Sanyo files MioPocket should not interfere with the original software.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Installing mio pocket on Sanyo 4370

Use SDFree method and assume you have extracted MioPocket on your PC's local drive
  1. Hook up your GPS to a PC via USB cable and note a drive letter
  2. Copy MioAutoRun, SDFree, and Media folders to the root of GPS FlashDrive (drive letter) above
  3. Open MobileNavigtor and rename MobileNavigator.exe to MobileNavigator_orig.exe
  4. Rename all 3 files begin with Miomap in SDFree folder to MobileNavigator (keep the extension intact)
  5. Copy all 3 files and MortScript.exe to MobileNavigator folder
  6. Unplug the GPS and launch MioPocket via the Navigation button. MobileNavigator on top is Sanyo GPS apps.
HTH.
