Question about Canon PowerShot S2 IS Digital Camera
Sounds like the CCD (image recording "chip") has died. Fairly common on some Canon models. Even though it is out of warranty by now, Canon has pledged to fix them at no cost in most markets. Here's a link to a more technical explanation. http://www.imaging-resource.com/badccds.html
