Still unable to access router setup page

I think my router has crashed... I have reset it numerous times and I have plug and unplug everything to it (pc, modem, etc.) I still am unable to access my router setup page. I've reset internet explorer and have tried to put the IP address in manually. I went to run/typed cmd/ and then ipconfig/all and still nothing. All I wanted to do was undo the username and password so my Belkin adapter could get a connection again. Please help!

I kinda figured that my next step would be to purchase a new one. Right now, money is tight, and I'm going to have to stick it out for a few more weeks before I purchase another router. I want to exhaust all my options first, just in case, I may have missed something along the way.

Bat 1956, you rock! my IP address is now 192.168.2.1 and I was able to get my computer with the wireless connection back online. Thank you soo much!

To reset the router to default values: disconnect power for 5 minutes. Locate the reset button (accessed thru hole in rear of router) press the button, holding it while you re-connect power and continue holding for 15 seconds. That should clear it up. The IP will be 192.168.2.1

Get a refund and get a new router ( NOT a belkin one ) get an airport extreme or possibly a linksys or netgear or a draytek

You can reset it if you wish or even update the firmware ( which may render the warranty useless , especially if something goes wrong ) but it is a lot easier to replace the router due to belkin routers needing constant rebooting ( turning off for about 5 seconds and back on ) all the time.

I have had experience of a number of users who in the end after updating firmware, rebooting etc etc and took all the possible avenues they could gave up in the end replaced it with something a lot better ie draytek, linksys, airport extreme or netgear.

When I try to access my cisco e1000 router on firefox or google it keeps saying that it is busy and will not connect

Are you trying to access the setup page of the router?
Did you install the Cisco connect software on your main computer?
If you have cisco connect software installed then open Cisco connect.
Go to Router settings. Click on Advanced settings. It will open the setup page of your router.

If the cisco connect is not installed then try to power cycle the router. Unplug the power to the router, wait for 30 seconds. Plug in the power cable. Wait for 30 seconds.
Now try to access the setup page.

If that is also not working then I will suggest you to reset the router and reconfigure it manually.

All Linksys routers have a built-in web-based setup page that allows the user to customize settings and set up advanced properties.

NOTE: Before accessing the router's web-based setup page, make sure the router is powered on and the computer is wired to one of the Ethernet ports on the router (1, 2, 3 or4 ).

What kind of internet service do you have, what company?
Sometimes it is important the order that you reset the devices in,

First unplug the "power" only from both the modem and Router, then first plug in the modem, wait for the internet/online light to go solid, depending on the device may take 30-60 seconds, then plug in the router to power, wait 30 seconds try the internet, and make sure to try a different page then just the home page.
