Question about Dell E176FP 17" LCD Monitor
Number is CN-OGC811-72872-66Q-078M. When I turn on the monitor, the image appears for about 10-20 seconds and then goes blank. If I turn it off and turn it on again, it will do the same thing; image works for few seconds and then goes blank. Another post said to replace the graphics card, but I want to make sure because we tried this with someone else's PC and the same thing was happening. Any help would be helpful. Mitsugo
It is your monitor inside problem, you need to know follow issue:
1) inverter board some where the component got less connection
like MOSFET drive or capacitor swelling need to resoldering or change.
2) the back light lamps worn that most cause this symptom, need check or adjust inverter driver to match them work well
3) DC power supply filter capacitor swelling should be this problem, check and fix it.
hope help you something do well, please feedback any question any time,
