Question about Washing Machines
The minute I turn on my washing machine and the water starts to fill up, it comes right out at the bottom and onto my floor. I don't think it's a hose leaking (though I could be wrong), because I think in that case, there would be a CONSTANT leak. With this there is ONLY water when the machine is running. Could there be a leak in the tub or something? I can't do a load at all because the water comes right out onto the floor. Help please! :)
Sure sounds like a hole or crack in the tub. Unplug power, shut off water, and disconnect the hoses. Tilt the washer onto its front and look underneath. Use a light to inspect the tub bottom and sides for a hole or crack. If it is small enough you might be able to plug it with silicone sealant.
