Channels locked

I have a 13" tv/vcr combo EWC1304 and on most of the channels it will say program protected by tv-14 I have checked and it tells me nothing is locked or blocked. What can I do so I can watch my tv?

this worked for our emerson....go to menu....go down to v-chip set up..chick on the volume button.....this should take you to something that will say tv ratings...again click on the vol. button. when I did this it showed that all channels were blocked.. again click the volume button and it should change it to view.. if it works this way for you then just click menu and you are done.
