The computer which was using the wireless connection, did it come with a wireless connection adapter installed or did you buy one for it? If it came installed with the computer, what is the make/model of the computer (Example: Dell Inspiron 531)? If you bought the wireless adapter separate, what is the make/model of the adapter (Example: Belkin Wireless USB Adapter model no. F5D6050 ver. 1101)?

Your router broadcasts your network SSID (network name) and that's what you should see in the "view other available networks" panel. If it's different to what you have set on your laptop, it's not going to connect. Also you must of course use the same WEP (network key) as all the other devices. Make certain the the IP's of all devices is set by DHCP, which is usually the default, but may have been changed.

Wireless Router suddenly stopped working.

Try resetting the Linksys back to the factory defaults and configure it again.
Power up the router and press the pinhole RESET button on the back of the router for 30 sec
Connect a LAN cable to the wireless router and open a browser and enter to router's configuration IP address and configure the wireless settings, remove the LAN cable when configuration is completed.
You need to configure then wireless card in the computer/laptop with the router's wireless settings.

Wireless Connection Not Identified Aftre Password Was Set Up

There are a lot of reasons this could happen but I'll give you what I had to do. 1) Go back into your router and change the Wireless channel from 6 to 10. 2) make sure you have entered the correct WEP key in your network setting for the wireless adapter. The easiest way is to remove teh wireless network from your computer and let the computer find the network and prompt you for the wep key. the wep key is not the password you use to log into your router. The wep keys must be entered on all the wirelss machines in order for this to work.
