Question about Whirlpool LSN1000LW Top Load Washer
I have a whirlpool top load washer; at the beginning of the rise cycle it will stop (after it has fulled up with water). The machine makes no sound like it is working at all.
Sounds like a broken lid switch
when you open your lid,
if it opens by the side and not the front there is an oval hole in the cabinet.
this is the lid switch, if it is not there its broken,
even if it is there, it could be broken, press in the hole with a pen. listen for a click.
the part is about 35$ and easy to change
if there are no children in the household it can be bypassed as well
