Question about Acer Extensa 4620 Notebook
Is it normal for an acer extensa 5430 to get white screen when i open lid after closing it on hibernation, sleep or just closing it while the computer is on...sometimes my windows resumes after trying to close and open lid twice... I have same problem, but i dont hibernate... mine can be powered right off, turn on and see same issue initial BIOS video is okay once Visata starts to load it goes white lines and i have to open/close lid 20-30 times for it to come back has to be a driver - but acer hasnt released anything AND i bought two of the 5430 (one me one my parents) and it is happening there as well on their machine... any help is really appreciated!
Your LCD panel cable could be disconnection. you need do follow steps
1) open LCD lid front cover, and loosen lid back cover, looking for a cable and a plug (plug in the socket) at back of panel, take out it clean all pins then reseat it.
2) if not fixed, you need change the LCD cable, because this symptom most cause the cable disconnection at plug and socket or itself..
hope help you fix it, please feedback any question any time, pleaae take a rating let me know how much helped you thanks!
