Hello Ty,

Tis a problem you have there, however I would advise you take one of your radios to radioshack or similar store, and the folk there should be able to assist in finding the apropriate chargers for you.

I hope this helps you in your quest.

Cheers,

Typically this would indicate a battery problem. Try swapping batteries with a known good unit. If the radio still shuts off when the PTT is pressed you have a radio problem. If it works fine, then you know your battery, despite showing fully charged, is bad.

MAKING T5720 WORK WITH THE CLS1410

In glancing at the frequency charts, it does not appear the two have any frequencies in common. You can look for yourself at the follow links:

Hi, how do I change frequencies so I can make the T5000 and our new CLS1410 work together

Sorry, the T5000 and CLS1410 have no frequencies in common. Here are links to the user guides for each model:

http://www.weatherconnection.com/manuals/CLS1110.pdf See pgs 40-41
http://www.giantintl.com/RadioPDFs/Outdated%20Manuals/T5XXX_User_Manual_E.pdf See page 20.

The T5000 is limited to FRS frequencies, and the CLS model is set up for consumer and business frequencies. Both are UHF, but that is the end of their similarities.

Best regards.
