Sony ericsson Memory stick problem

I transferred some files to my sony ericsson w810i phone using bluetooth from a windows 98 machine. Later, when I tried to transfer these files to another computer, I noticed that none of the files are showing up in the explorer window(windows xp, under direct usb cable connection). All other files in the phone and memory card(512 MB, memory stick duo pro) are displayed, but the files I copied to the phone are not displayed. Can you help me to recover these files.

Hello my sony Ericsson W810i doesn't read the memory stick , when i choose to save in my memory stick.

if it's a new memory card, it must be formatted before you're able to use it. there should be a "format memory card" option in your phone options.

How do i put music on my sony ericsson phone from a laptop

To put music on your W810i cellphone, connect it to your laptop with the usb cable. If you don't have the cable use a memory stick. The phone or card will show up as a removable drive on your computer in the Windows Explorer. Copy folders of music into the MP3 directory. When your phone is disconnected or the card is inserted, it will take several moments to index the music, and then your music will appear in the music listings.

Sony Ericsson Z750a

good day,

you have the option of transferring musinc files to you phone memory or to your memory card. however, it is recommended that you use the memory card when storing large files like mp3s.

when transferring files from your pc to your memory card, you can use a bluetooth connection (note: you need a bluetooth donggle to do this), or via a data cable (should be included in the package when you bought the phone - just follow the instructions in the accompanying cd when installing the software). with these two options, you can now transfer your music files to your phone.

another option is by directly transferring the music files to the memory card using a card reader that is attached to your pc. your memory card will be detected as a removable drive when doing this. you can easily click and drag (or copy) your files to your memory card.

i hope this helps

Sony ericsson walkman phone

You can either put them on using the Sony Ericsson Pc suite "disc to phone" which you can download at the sony ericsson site for free. Or you can connect your device as a mass storgage device and go into the folders like its a pc on your drive. Another option would be to connect via bluetooth to transfer the files. But your pc needs to have bluetooth first. Hope this helped!
