I don't have it fixed, yet, I don't want your service that I thought was going to be free. Don't advertise it that way, when it's not.

I have a Sears Coldspot chest freezer Model #1869. The door doesn't seal properly and ice builds up within the door and the seal becomes even worse. The freezer itself works fine.

A precut seal will be expensive so please don't expect the price to be reasonable should you find one. Sears uses a longer number to list model numbers like 312.215478 as an example. Where can I find my model number? Let me know if you have questions, Thanks Sea Breeze

Double check that model number. Sears doesn't recognize it.

The driver side door on my 2002 chevy blazer wont close.how do i fix it?

Door pins are a common failure on that series of Blazer/S10's. Also, another point of contention that the door faces is a sticky latch. Basically, the door latch re-latches itself and when you shut the door into the catch, it slams into it and bounces off. An easy fix is a 3 part cocktail of brake parts cleaner. Open and shut the latch with a screw driver acting as the catch and your interior door handle a few times. P'Blaster, open and shut the door a few times with the screwdriver acting as the catch. Finally, a good shot of white lithium grease. Open and shut the door with a screwdriver as the catch several times. Once you feel it is un-stuck, actually close and open the door several times. If you notice the door rising every time it catches, you MUST replace the door pins (cheap fix). If the door still has issues, replace the door latch (and since you're in there, do some PM and replace the actuator as well).

The locking mechanism on the drivers side door,is locked in the closed positin.Cant get door to shut?

cheffenwolfb, What you need to do is to take a screwdriver and put it in the catch in place of the locking striker. Pull the door handle to the open position and pull the locking catch open with the screwdriver. Try the door a few times to be sure that it doesn't do it again. A little lubrication on the catch wouldn't hurt. Good luck with this.

The dryer door does not shut enough to compress the seal. The dryer latch hasno adjustment to make a tighter fit. Neither the latch on the door, nor the receiver in the unit are damaged.

You might have to replace the catch. Ours is held on with 2 screws (the piece on the dryer not the door).
Take it to a place like sears or maybe Home Depot and see if they carry it. or they can order one.

44082 is the model #

he code "dr" means the control doesn't see the door switch being closed. This can mean the door catch is broken or the door is bent and not shutting all the way or clothes are preventing the door from shutting all the way but most likely it means the door lock assembly needs to be replaced.
Check the door strike is not broken and make sure the door is shutting evenly. If the door is shut fully and the "dr" error keeps occurring then replacing the lock assembly 131763245 will most likely fix this problem.
The switch can be obtained from the following link: Sears PartsDirect . Remember to unplug the washer first before attempting to change the switch.
The image below contains the instructions to access and change the latch. Changing the latch is easy the tough part is putting the spring back on. Sometimes it helps to have two extra hands when trying to reinstall the wire/spring.
I hope this information helps you resolve this problem but submit another question with any additional details for further assistance.

MICROWAVES ARE MADE TO BLOW THE FUSE IF THERE IS A POSSIBLY OF DANGER--THAT'S A GOOD THING...SAFTY SWITCHES ARE MADE TO CLOSE(SOME UN-CLOSE) WHEN THE DOOR IS OPEN AND SHUT AND IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU DO HAVE A LITTLE DOOR PROBLEM---THE REPAIR SHOULD BE FIXABLE AND MAYBE REASONABLE,,MY GUESS COST-WISE ,,,75.00,,OF COURSE ,IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE SERVICE COMPANY--TRY AN INDEPENDANT SERVICER (NOT SEARS,ETC) GOOD LUCK TUNICA
