Question about Bissell 1699 ProHeat Clear View Upright Steam Vacuum
The cleaning brushes do not work. I cant find a on/off button that controls them.
I have a slightly different model, and there is not switch on yours that I am aware of. I have however had a problem with the drive belt slipping off. I haven't had one break yet, but they often slip off of the brush assembly. If you are looking at the front of the cleaner, there should be a small compartment on the right side. Remove this door and that will gain you access to the belt. Hope this helps.
