This happened to my Mitsubishi rear projection HDTV a couple years ago.  It was still under warranty, so I sent it to a repair shop.  They had it for 9 months!  Couldn't figure out what was wrong.  They replaced pretty much everything before they finally figured out it was the red tube light, or something like that.  If you have this problem, call your TV repair guy and tell him to check that first!  Maybe you won't have to be without your TV for as long as I was.

Green blinking light will not go off

You probably have bad capacitors in the DM board assy. These are going to have to be replaced. There are also surface mounted fuses, two of these inside this board. If you do not know how to solder on printed circuit boards, and work with surface mounted components, play it safe and call out a pro to assist you in this repair. Good Luck.

Tv will not turn on but it constantly blinks and will not stop

You need to change the seven capacitors on the DM power supply board (inside the metal case on the left where your DTV tuner connects)They are 1000 MFD 16 VOLT capacitors and the tops are probably bulging outward because they are leaky- this is a common problem. When you lost power, the TV had to reboot itself but because of the leaky caps it never will and the green light keeps blinking. As long as you never lost power or unplugged the set the TV would of still worked.Once you change the parts and plug the set in the light will blink normaly for about a minute and when it stops blinking you can then turn on the TV.
