I had the same problem once, there is a trap in the bottom, if you take the bottom panel off there is what looks like a turn dial if you pull that out and clean it out it should drain better it catches everything lint, change you name it. but you will want something to put underneath it there will be water in it. hope this helps

Dishwasher will not drain

Most of these will either be draining all the time or not draining because of the open or close position of the plunger that controls the draining,When timer go,s bad it still times and turns but not on time, when it stays draining for 90 seconds and and stays draining after it should have shut off ,,well it burns out and freezes that plunger that operates the draining of the dishwasher. Thus both timer and control plunger need replaced,,over a 100 dollars in parts,GET A NEW DISHWASHER

Soapy water standing in bottom not rinsing soap off dishes

It sounds as if it is not draining. Try to trace the drain line under the sink. Usually it goes into a disposall. The port where it connects to the disposall may be clogged. Another thought. If you had the disposall replaced recently they may not have taken the knock out plug out which would give the drain water no where to go.

My whirlpool washer (calypso) will not drain... It is flashing a code "LD" and soapy water is still in the bucket.

The drain pump has either failed or is blocked. If you can hear a humming noise while draining, the pump contains a blockage.
