Question about Vacuums
I know where the blockage is, I just can't get to it. How can I clear out the blockage to the canister without tearing down the vacuum? The blockage is in the tube that sits behind the canister and is preventing dirt from going in the canister. I tried to use a paper clip but it was too flimsy.
I cut a strip of window screen about 1 inch wide and 12 inches long and slid it up the tube from the back of the vacuum. The screen edges grabbed the gunk and as I pulled the screen strip out from the tube the gunk came with it, clearing the blockage.
