What kind of pictures are you saving? Ex:jpeg, digital images, etc
Also could be the excesive amount of using the usb's memory saving files, images, videos, etc,,deleting them and saving new ones back again.

Computer wont recognize the camera

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Pro photographers avoid this very common problem by always using a diskreader. You've found that this method works very well so stop worrying and enjoy. As far as the problem with the pics on the internal memory of the camera, go into the menu and find "copy". It will give you the option to copy the internal memory to a memory card.

Consider NOT using the USB connection.

Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.

Hi there, these are the instructions that I know of (which enable you to download your photos to your computer. If they do not work for you, reply back and I will see what else I can come up with.

for MAC

If you are running Mac OS 10.5 and above (Leopard and Snow Leopard) do the following:

1. Connect your iPhone to your computer via it's USB cable.
2. Go to Applications and open Image Capture
3. Select the iPhone from the list on the left.
4. Select a folder where you want the photos to be imported to.
  • Click the Import To: drop down menu. (IF you need to create a folder, THEN select Other... then New Folder....type the name of the folder..... then click Choose.)
5. Select a photo in the list, then press Command A (to Select All) (OR individually select the photos you wish to copy (Command Select)).

6. Click Import ALL.

PC (Windows)

1. Connect your iPhone to your computer via it's USB cable.
2. Right click the Start menu.
3. Select Explore.
  • Your iPhone will appear as a USB stick or other hard drive would. Allowing you to copy the photos stored in Camera Roll.
4. Navigate to your Computer to locate the iPhone.
  • You should now able to copy your photos off your iPhone.
I hope this information is helpful to you. Please rate. Regards,

Can't get photos from MAC to load to Digital Photo Frame

To connect to a Macintosh computer:
1 Plug in and turn on the digital picture frame.

2 Connect the small end of the usb cable to the usb port on the side of the digital picture frame.

3 Connect the larger end of the usb cable to a USB port on your Macintosh computer. The Macintosh will recognize the digital picture frame as an external storage device, and an icon will appear representing the device.

4 Drag and drop your photos on to the icon...

5. After you finish, press the eject button, and disconnect the usb cable once the icon has dissappeared

If there is still a problem, try restarting the macbook. and make sure no other programs are running in the background that may interfere with the process. Also, make sure the laptop is plugged in, or the battery power is sufficient.

Hope this helps!

CANNOT DOWNLOAD

There is no software for the computer to recognize and it will not download to your computer automatically. This is what you do: After connecting the usb cable from the camera to your computer, go into my computer and look for the drive, it will probably show up under removable drives. Can you see the drive VTech 733 there? If so, double click on the drive to open it and find the folder named Photos. Your picture should be there.
