I changed batteries in keyboard yesterday and it worked well for the rest of the day. This morning I can't get it to do anything. (I don't have the book since I took over someone else's desk)
Usualy there is a button on the pc conected device that has to be pressed for it to work.If this does not avail, then try steps initily attempted previously as if it was workig...

I think that you should change the battery of the mouse or could be that the sync is not there anymore. Try syncing the mouse again by pressing the sync button at the bottom of it for 10-15 seconds.
On the bottom of the mouse is a small door and it takes two AA batteries.

If the mouse doesn't have a little door to open
on the bottom, then try this. Just behind the Left and Right keys where
your hand rests, apply firm pressure down on the cover and slide to the
rear. Some mouse manufactures have used this type of access to replace
the batteries.

Turn the mouse over and find the small
rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it to
Reset/Connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly.
If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press
the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or
glitch.

changed batteris and that worked great. Until this am. Came in and same problem. switched batteries back but no fix. I am sure new fresh batteries each day can't be the solution! Anyone have any ideas

Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start
flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT
button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the
receiver.
Can i ask if this is a wireless keyboard?
