Hi
The seat must not be used with a broken carry handle. The carry handle provides vital protection to the child in the event of an impact.

If you're in the UK and the seat is under 24 months old return it to your retailer with proof of purchase for them to send to the engineers for inspection / repair required under warranty terms and conditions.

If you're in the UK and the seat is over 24 months old or you no longer have proof of purchase you can book in for chargeable inspection / repair with the customer care team on 01284 413 141 Mon-Thur 08:30-17:30 / Fri 08:30-16:30 (Excluding Bank Holidays) Standard charge is 39.99GBP and this does include courier collection and delivery.

If you're not in the UK please visit www.maxi-cosi.com and select the country you're in, then choose the Contact Us tab on the right side of the screen for your enquiry to be sent through to the customer care team in your country who will assist you further.

SOURCE: the handle on my maxi cosi family fix base snapped off, less than 1yr of use what can i do?

Call and report a product failure. Be nice. Their product support people will usually work with you and most often replace broken parts that may result
in endangering the safety of a child or parent. You will catch many more flies with honey than mustard in your call.

SOURCE: Hi, I have a maxi

Hi,
we have the same problem with our family fix base - our vehicle is approved on the list, an other family fix base we tried did not have this problem, but we can not seem to find the problem with this one - it starts out of the blue to beep while driving, all three lights are green though. Is sending back to amazon (in our case) the only solution?
thanks in advance.

Does Maxi cosi pebble car seat cover fit to maxi cosi mico car seat?

Hi
We wouldn't advise a Pebble fabric on a Mico as the models are a different design so the Pebble fabric wouldn't be an optimum fit on the Mico model.

Broken polystyrene in maxi cosi pebble

Broken polystyrene in the Maxi Cosi Pebble doesn't sound very safe. Try reading the user manual for the Pebble:

Does maxi cosi cabriofix easy base require anything to be removed from it before fixing it? we cant find where the button is that fixes it to the seat

Hi

Can you clarify - what button are you looking for?

The EasyFix base is fitted into the vehicle using the IsoFix points OR the 3 point seabelt. (Never both) The carseat then clicks onto the base and the metal rods on the underside of the CabrioFix carseat are grabbed by clamps on the base.

We have a cabriofix car seat on a family fix base (purchased new in Dec 2010). The car seat is stuck on the base. One of the clips will not release when the grey handle is pulled. Any ideas why?

Get back to where you bought it for a replacement - these things HAVE to work perfectly to keep your child safe - don't try to "fix" it you could live to regret it.

Hi, I have a maxi cosi pebble car seat which fits in the family fix base. The three green lights illuminate and the beep sounds when I put the car seat into the base but they also reappear and the beep...

Good Evening

It should only re-light and the beep sound again if you've pressed the button during the journey to check that it is fitted correctly. It should not be doing this of its own accord.

Was the fitting list on the Maxi Cosi website checked before purchasing of these items? Is your vehicle approved on this list? If not this could be why this problem is happening, as the vehicle is not suited for using the products.

If your vehicle has been confirmed as approved, I recommend you return the items to your retailer with your proof of purchase and ask them to return the items to our engineers for full inspection to confirm that they are working as they should be.

Which car seat fits the Quinny zapp

Hi, all the maxicosi carseats will fit onto the zapp using the adaptors that come with the zapp pushchair (but not the newly rebranded bebe loola).

The difference between the maxi cosi cabriofix and the ordinary cabrio or citi is that the cabriofix can be attached to the maxicosi in-car seat base (easybase or easyfix), whereas the cabrio and citi can only be fitted in the car using the cars seatbelts, they wont attach to the incar base. Hope I have helped a bit x
