Yea you burned it out, mybe you had it running at too low of an ohm- load and thats what did it, but as far as im concerned you have burned it up, it could just be the power supply tho, go get it diagnosed :)

is the remote power good? also, make sure you have good ground(grind the connection clean if connected to chasis). If that don't work and the fuses on the amp are good, then the amp is blown.

Well, sounds like you have an internal damage since it smokes, if it smokes as soon as it kicks on, and blowing the fuse right away, I would have it fixed. But my guess would be something with the ground that is making this happen, or some how your power is grounding on the amp. When ever smoke comes into play, thats never good any way at this point you gotta admitt that thiers internal damage.. blowing fuses can also be cause by over working your amp. along with the sub load at 1 ohm make sure your amp can do the same.. hope this was helpful in some way

Need help with my Kicker Amp

Some amplifiers don't work well if the signal source has no connection to chassis ground, This could have caused instability in the amplifier and caused it to fail.

It's also possible that the amplifier had a manufacturing defect.

Problems With My Jensen 425 Watt Amp

It's normal to see sparks when reinstalling the fuse. But they should only be produced inside the fuse holder when the fuse makes contact with the terminals of the fuse holder.

Did you reinstall the capacitor with the correct polarity? If you installed it backwards, it may have blown out or could be causing other problems.

Did you possibly bridge the connections in the amp when you soldered the camp in?

It's possible that something failed and caused the cap to melt out of the board. The failed component may have caused the fireworks inside the amp.

Either the speaker is shorted out (blown), or the output transistors in the amplifier are bad. Try hooking up another speaker to the amp. If it plays, the amp is good. If not, then the amp is bad.

Eclipse 2.13oe camtec

With your multimeter set to DC volts, the black meter lead on the ground terminal of the amp and the head unit on (so the amp will have remote voltage applied), touch the red lead alternately to the B+ and remote terminals of the amp. If the voltage is below ~11 volts, you need to check the wiring feeding whichever line is too low.

If the voltage remains near or above 12v, disconnect all speaker wires from the speaker terminals of the amp and disconnect signal cables from the amp. If it powers up, the wiring needs to be checked. If it still shuts down, the amp likely has blown output transistors.
