If u have entered a wrong PUK no. less than 10 times, then u can contact customer care and get the PUK unblocking code (its free). Remember each sim card has a different unblocking no.
If you have entered wrong PUK no. 10 times or more, then this SIM card is blocked and will have to be replaced by a new one. You need to visit any airtel franchisee, purchase a new sim, and they will delete your old sim card details and add the details of new sim card into their system. A new sim probably costs around 245/- (i think, though don't remember when i purchased it last). You need to carry old sim card + ID proof + any airtel bill (if postpaid, may get required).

dear friend, u have entered a wrong sim pin code or the sim u entered in ur phone 3 atempts wrong pin code inserted. So u need unlock the sim with a puck code. Commonly 2 pin codes(pin code1 and pin code2) are availabe with 2 puk code for every sim card. U need to fix ur operation that what code to be inserted in ur phone. U will find the puk code from sim plate(which you got with sim card from sellar.) you can also get puk code from sim service providor. tnkz.
You must be telling about the PUK code, it's not possible from your side or from our side, the only solution is calling the customer care of your network operator (sim card service provider), they'll give you the number/code and will instruct you how to do.... Please don't try to fix it yourself, you'll end up spoiling the sim card. Multiple wrong attempts will permanently damage your sim card and you'll see an error message "sim rejected" or "sim blocked", at that time, it'll be too late.

if you locked your sim, then phone will ask PIN code on next startup, and this PIN code only network servirce provider can tell you, otherwise if you enter wrong pin codes for three times, your sim card will be rejected.
It is asking for code because you change your sim card security when you insert this in phone last time. It is asking for PIN code. Only network service provider know this code, contact customer care of your service provider. If you entered wrong PIN number three times your sim card will be rejected hence don't try to enter wrong code.

You only have 10 attepmts to enter the 16 digit PUK code which can be obtained from your network provider, either from website or contacting customer services. After the PUK has been entered wrong 10 times the PUK becomes blocked and SIM is dead.
If you contact your network provider and explain they will send you a new one and transfer your number to it. You will just have to wait a while on delivery.
You can obtain the puk code by contacting your phone service provider.
If you have entered the puk code wrong too many times (tried to guess it) the sim card has disabled itself, and its useless, you will have to contact your phone service provider to obtain another sim card.
