Unable to use Keypad with magicJack

The phone works on magicJack, except the keypad does not connect with magicJack, nor does the ringer.  I can talk to people by using the on-screen soft pad.  Yes, I've spent hours with magicJack tech and haven't gotten very far.  Any ideas on where to look or what to do?

Change the phone you have plugged in to the magicjack for a compatible one. It does not like DECT phones for instance.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: MagicJack, Regarding beeping (sounds like keypad touch) problem

If you notice, you will see random digits entering into your magic Jack's number dialing pad by itself.

I guess this is due for poor software writing on the part of magic Jack's driver in your PC that must be sharing (or leaks from) a memory region or register on your PC. It could also be due to using a poor choice of register address, DMA address, or Interrupt number in your PC by Magic Jack Driver. This problem seems to have been introduced by their new software update in late June 2009.

Magic Jack should solve this problem, but they have poor support. They may not even know about this and other problems with USB Port Letter Reservation. I am sick of watching their promotional video (the guy, his children and the two dogs!) on their site when I am searching for a tech support email or a phone number.

No ring on incoming calls

I found this in statement in a review of Magicjack on Amazon, hope it helps.

The one problem I did encounter was at the beginning when I found that one of my phones wouldn't ring when someone called me. By googling the problem, I found out that this problem is due to the ringer equivalency number (REN) of the phone you are using (google "phone REN" to find out what it is). Most phones have their REN listed at the bottom of the base unit. From my experience, I believe Magicjack will only work for phones that have REN of up to 1.0B (add up all phones in your system to get your total REN. Mine had a corded base with 0.6B REN with 2 more cordless handsets. I figured that made my phone system total to 1.8B REN). Magicjack did ring on a phone that had 0.98B REN. To fix the problem, I bought a multi-handset GE DECT 6.0 (model 28223 Series) which basically has REN 0.0B. Magicjack had no problems ringing with this phone. My phone system was over 3 years old anyway so I didn't mind replacing it.

NO DETECTION OF KEYPAD ON THE NOKIA CELL PHONE

take of the battery while the phone is still is alive

if it doesnt work try formatting(aftersaving ur files in the computer)
press the (greenbutton + * + 3 ) and while pressing these switches , switchon the mobile
i know it sounds funnyand its a long process(40 sec) but shld help if its a software problem

PS;the above key combinations should be done only when the phone is in the switched off stage
the key combinations should be kept on hold while pressing the power button for abt 10 sec

if none of these work better take it the dealer

Faulty Display

It could be a bad connection in the wiring between your display and the keypad. You should get it checked out at a cell phone store especially if it's still covered under warranty.
