Shut off and won't come back. It's like it is dead.

I was useing it and it shut off on it's own. I unhooked from the back and plugged back in, and tried a new outlet. The green light is on on the power pack.

Follow this procedure:
1. unplug the ac adapter and keep it unplugged.
2. Remove the battery and keep the battery unplugged.
3. Hold the power button down for 15-20 seconds(Nothing will appear on the display and none of the lights will light up)
4. Release the power button and plug in the ac adapter ONLY. (A power indicator light should be lit on the ac adapter when it is plugged in)
5. Normally power on the notebook.
6. If the unit does not power on, remove the ac adapter and insert the battery into the system.
7. Plug the ac adapter back into the system, the battery charging indicator light will light up. If the battery indicator light does not light up, the ac adapter may not be providing proper power to the unit, and may need to be replaced.

Error bliking green light an not printing

If only the power green light is blinking, you could try a printer reset that may correct the problem.
1. With the printer on, disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet.
2. Wait at least 3 minutes
3. Plug back into the outlet.

Aspire ahows green light but won't start up, have turned off main but still just green shows

Pull the plug from the AC outlet, wait a 30 seconds, plug in, try to reboot. Does it try to start and in a few seconds shut down? Give as much detail as you can.

No green light on my logitech speakers

First and foremost, did you test those speakers at the store before you bought them? There must be an ON/OFF switch somwhere on those speakers. Or maybe, the AC cable is defective or loose. Try unhooking it from your speakers then hook it back. Or did you forget to plug it in the wall electrical outlet?

My Pioneer Elite PRO-111FD just shut off on it's own, and now won't turn back on. No green or red indicator light... nothing. Any suggestions?

Check your power source (electrical outlet) and the power cable. If electrical outlet is ok, try using a different power cable (the cable that you plug on to the electrical outlet going to your TV set). If everything is ok but still no indicator light, call your technician there might be a problem with the TV power supply.

Hello, I have a Lacie 330770 250 GB hard drive.  It does not respond when I plug it into the outlet.  I have tried several different outlets in different rooms, and neither the green light on the power...

If the green light on your LaCie power supply does not light, you likely have a bad power supply. You can buy a new one from LaCie. If you are purchasing a new power supply from LaCie ask for the higher wattage unit. LaCie upgraded this a while back.

I need to wire a new pulg onto my heater

normally you will have four wires in the cord: a red, a black, awhite and a green. The red and black are the hot or power wires the white is the neutral and the green is ground. Purchase a plug that matches your outlet pattern (that will plug in). Shut off the circuit breaker that feeds the outlet and remove the cover. strip the insulation back on the cord, determine which wire goes to which lug or terminal and connect the wires to the plug. reassemble the outlet and the plug, turn on the circuit and test. If all of this is greek to you, call a local electrician and pay them the $50 to $80 to put the plug on for you, its safer that way.
