What is the model number of your current air conditioner? You will usually have to remove the upper shroud, evaporator housing and condenser housing to get all of this out. With that removed, the fan motor should have three or four studs holding it to the plate. Remove the screws from the plate and the whole assembly will lift out.

How many watts is a coleman super mach

Specifications are listed below:

http://www.mycaravanparts.com.au/products/appliances/air-conditioning/coleman-mach3.aspx

Bear in mind, this A/C unit is made for Recreational Vehicles with a Heavy Duty Battery to power such devices for a short time and external power supply for extensive use. The watts listed in the specifications refers to cooling and heating power in watts, British Thermal Units (BTUs) was the old measurement term. Do not confuse these cooling and heating watts with the amount of electrical power consumption in watts. The two are unrelated. Power for this RV A/C unit comes from a battery or external RV connection point. Hopes this helps you.

I have a Mach3 unit with 1 capacitor 35uf 370 VAC and a fan capacitor, unit trips breaker after cooling RV when system starts up again, shouldn't there be a run, start, fan capacitor? only have 2...

You need to check the Amp draw at start up of the compressor. Also if you have a meter that can check the compressor capacitor, it needs to be checked. If the capacitor is ok and the compressor starts at a higher Amp draw than the rating on the capacitor, you will need a start capacitor.

I have a Coleman A/C unit Model # BRCS0481BD and I need to replace the condenser fan motor. It doesn't look complicated but I was wandering can anyone post a how to tutorial. Thanks in advance, ...

Disconnect power to the unit. Remove the fan blade. Remove motor from mounting bracket. When replacing the motor, replace the run capacitor too.

The outer fan dont work. where can i get a replacement ?

Check at your local computer/ Hobby Electronics parts store.

Take the fan out of the unit and to the store with you, that way they can match it to one they may have in stock.

My Mach3 coleman ac compressor hums but wont start. trips breaker. I replaced the start capacitor with a hard start. still wont run?

unfortunaletly the hartd start is a "last resort" and you will probably need to replace the compressor/unit... (however I have had luck physically jarring the compressor during the instant I applied power to the compressor.. sounds silly, but I have had it work more than once..) hope this helps

the most common problem is that one or both cooling fans has failed. If you have the newer version, you can get replacement fans anywhere computer parts are sold
