Question about Dryers
We have a Kenmore 80 series gas dryer. Just the last 2 times I have used it, it turns on , but is not heating up. Is this possibly something that we can fix ourselves. If so, How?
Hi, check the fuse first. This is the most common model. If this is not your model, please get me the model #.
UNPLUG the dryer! Remove the rear panel of the dryer and
locate the fuse. It is white and ¼” wide and 3” long. It is located on the
blower housing. Remove the wires and check to see if it has continuity. If it
does not, you need to replace it. If the fuse is ok, let me know so I can tell you how to test the ignitor.
Please let me know if this help or if I can assist you further.
