I have an old dusty e210. Recently I have installed Win 7 RC x64 it looked cool, it was faster, games went well everything was ok. I had to print st. yesterday. Downloaded the driver, connected the printer, and the installer said NOT compatible driver with x64 systems. I stuck at that point Could somebody help me out ?
Lexmark never updated the E210 driver for Windows Vista / Windows 7. Luckily, the printer is identical to the Samsung ML-1210 printer, which has better drivers that are Vista / Win 7 compatible. (The new drivers also work if the printer is connected to an XP machine, but is being shared with a Vista machine on your network.)
Go to the Samsung Support website (www.samsung.com/us/support/) and then type ML-1210 in the search box in the middle of the page. Click on the ML-1210 result, then click the "Downloads" tab, then below that, click "Drivers." Scroll down to get the correct driver for your system.
Uninstall any old drivers before installing the new drivers.
