Question about Metrologic Instruments 9520 Voyager
Since this is a swap out from original purchase 3 years ago, even though this unit is only 1.5 years old, they won't consider it a warranty issue. They want me to either buy a new one, or for $140, send me a refurbished one. I would like to fix problem, but the tech support does not think it is fixable. We rebooted and scanned default startup or whatever it is called. Still making noise, only when in cradle. Not sure how to proceed, we use this in a Dry Cleaner.

You need to go to www.honeywellaic.com go to downloads select the ms9535 and download the softwedge software. its a little program that runs in the background. I had the same issue, downloaded the software and connected no problem.

If it is using the MX009 USB Cable it wont scan with the standard configuration. You will need extra configs such as enable Rs-232 Mode, Enable Xon/Xoff handshaking etc..
These can be found on the www.Metrologic.com website which will divert you to Honeywell website
