Pny 16 gb pen drive not sensing in my hp laptop

have you tried a different usb port? may have to restart, then try a new slot.

also, if it was one of the first 16 gb flash drives to market, it may have failed.

last thing is to try a different computer. if it does work in a different computer, then right click computer, properties. go to device manager, and right click in a blank space. it will say scan for hardware changes, click that.

Pin drive is not detected for any pc give any solutions

I will be assuming a Windows operating system for this solution.
The drive may not be formatted. This can happen if someone has decided to wipe it, but is unlikely if it was freshly bought from the store (most pin drives are packaged after formatting). Note that this method will erase all data on the drive.
1. Insert the pin drive into a computer, and navigate to your desktop. Right-click on My Computer or Computer and select Manage. hyblademin_1.png

2. When the Computer Management Dialog loads, select Disk Management from the navigation bar on the left side. hyblademin_2.png

3. You will see the contents of the Manage Computer dialog change. Look at the area outlined in the next snapshot. You should see your main hard drive C:, any secondary hard drives you may have, your CD drives, and, finally, any flash drives you have plugged in. Look for any drive letter that isn't accounted for. You should see a nearly-matching amount of drive space in the block next to it (refer to snapshot below) as well as a colored bar over it. If the drive doesn't show up, it is broken. If the bar is black (says "unallocated"), the drive needs to be formatted. hyblademin_3.png

4. Right click on the drive block and select format. hyblademin_4.png

5. Change "Volume Label" to whatever you want to name the drive space, make sure "Quick Format" is checked, and select FAT (or FAT32 if available) from the dropdown list. hyblademin_5.png

Hopefully, after the computer is finished working, you will be able to use your drive again.
Good luck!

My pen drive works on different computers but doesnt work on mine. I have pen drives that work on my computer except this one. It's a Sony 4 GB pen drive and worked on my PC till a couple of days back. Now...

Check your computer for recently installed updates and use the system restore to try to restore to a point before the drive stoped working. Also, carry out a full virus scan.

4 gb pendrive led glows but now shown in my computer, i tried to check in many computers and laptops but the same problem. please help me.

umm, how old are your computer and laptops that you're using to check?
It could be that they don't have a USB 2.0 port.

Is there any message at the bottom right of your computer when you plug it in saying anything related to a USB device.

Also you can click on Start/"right-click" My Computer/Manage/Device Manager/Universal Serial Bus Controllers --- make sure that this says it's working properly and enabled.

My 2gb pendrive not working it is not detected

Trouble:
You may have faced a problem when you insert your pen drive and it gets detected very easily but it doesn’t show up as a drive icon in My Computer. The Computer detects the pen drive but data on pen drive is not visible as the pen drive is not visible in My Computer (Explorer).
This problem occurs mainly when windows XP fails to allocate a drive letter to your portable drive(pen drive). It occurs mostly with new pen drives connected to your computer for the first time. If you face such problem then it may not be the pen drive’s fault, rather it may be windows trouble.

If Problem Fix:
Fix:
You can fix this issue by following some simple steps given below.
1. Click Start, click Run, type compmgmt.msc, and then click OK.
2. In the console tree, click Disk Management. The Disk Management window will appear.
3. On this disk management window, you can see some drives including the portable drive. Right click on your portable drive and click change drive letter and paths.
4. Now a assign a new drive letter which is not being used by any of your drives in My Computer.
5. After assigning the new drive letter your portable drive will show up in my computer with other drives
