Sylvania lc320ss8, works fine, but has a 3-4 inch horizontal bar of discoloration, the picture in this bar is darker than the rest of the picture outside this bar. tv functions work, as does the remote. the horizontal bar is static, it does not move. tapping on the tv does not jar the bar, it is solid and non moving. i know there is a similar question in fixya that has been asked, it showed up in google results. i cannot discover it's location though, as this website does not have a keyword search function.
Do you have tv repair exp. If not then take it to a shop.If you do then reseat the plugs on the T Con board ( Timing Control). If that don't fix it then go on E-Bay and get a price on a used T-Con board and try that. Those boards have a high rate on going bad.
