a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: split speeds on modem
I have never seen a router split speed evenly for the number of computers plugged in. Typically all bandwidth is available to any one computer using the service and it becomes proportianlly less as others start using it. Just because four computers are plugged in doesn't mean each will get 1/4th the total speed, it all depends on what they are doing. Perhaps you have a problem with your wireless connection itself since your first speedtest was using a cabled ethernet connection. Check to make sure you have a strong signal and that windows is reporting a good speed (11mbps, 54mbps, etc). If the signal is real low then speed can drop to below 1mbps. Finally, are you conducting the exact same test each time (like www.speedtest.net). A file download from a site isn't the best test of speed since it can vary drastically as others users hit the site.

This is usually a router configuration issue. The router has to be configured to match your new broadband settings.
For example, your old DSL may have required some kind of login which was entered into the router. For most broadband cable connections, you set the router to get an IP address automatically.
Re-run the router Setup Wizard. You can download it here:

This seems to me at first look to be a problem with your ISP not accepting the credentials for your connection. I presume you tried restarting everything after resetting the router, but resetting it has erased your ISP login and password.

first connect your router to laptop with ethernet cable. Then u can access it with following link http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 then type user name as "admin" and password is "admin" or blank or "password" then u can see configuration of your router. then check its ip range and enable dhcp and also if there mac security u have to add your mac adrese in allow list u can find your computer mac adreses with command prompt. type "ipconfig /all" in command prompt. then u get alL ADRSES physical adrses is your mac addreses.

SOURCE: Router Won't connect to internet
The cable modem sometimes register the hardware MAC address of the connected device. So your PC may be registered and it won't accept the router now. Connect the WAN port of the router to your cable modem and power the modem off and on again. It should re-register the connected device and now your router should work.
