Can not get full acceleration. Checking in control panel - game controllers shows the brake is on quarter way, When I put the foot down on the accelerator the brake returns to the zero point but I only get three quarters of the maximum acceleration

Accelerator pedal often sticks on, and/or is always slow to return to "idle" disallowing "steering by throttle."

    Hi,

I have exact the same problem with two of the Momo force- wheels (I have to return the first wheel after a year and two years later... the second one starts with this problem)

MOMO's are notorious for the potentiometers going bad. There used to be a place that sold replacements, check www.digikey.com I think the top kit is for momo black, and the bottom one for momo red. I think they were zero balance when I checked.

as a last resort, take the information for the digikey potiometers to Radioshack and see if they can order you some.

Make sure floor mat is not compromising accelerator pedal operation. Check throttle cable for sticking and binding.... lube if necessary. Check throttle linkage at intake for sticking/binding and repair as necessary

After turning on truck .an go to accelerate the truck hesitates an makes a "Brake sticking sound wen throttle is applied. .on the Traxxas Summit. .Thankyou!

do you here rumbling also from one or both sides front or rear if its four wheel disc brakes one or more brake calipers can be locked up or the emergency brake is not releasing in the rear if drum brakes in the rear the return springs could have broken this is what pulls the brake shoes back when you take your foot off the pedal and will make a lot of noise and cause resistance because the brake for that wheel is partially or fully applied LATER MAN!

My brakes keep locking up on 2001 ford taurus what causing it?

Could be sticking disc brake caliper(s), or sticking rear wheel cylinder(s). If one wheel locks up before the others, that would likely be the problem caliper or cylinder, since that brake wouldn't fully disengage, and would therefore be dragging (which would accelerate the wear on those brake pads or shoes, also).

Metal spring has broken under my gas pedal

Put the Brake spring under the gas pedal (think its the same part) and then get a "Squash Ball" (small hollow ball for the game Squash) and tape that in place of the spring, you brake pedal will now feel more firm like a real car....
