Question about Daewoo FR-147RV

Open Question

R134A replacement Hi, I have the same problem with a SubZero 650 and I only have the automotive setup for recharging. I tried some other auto adapter parts but it didn't work. Did you find out how to adapt to the refridgerator valve? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Marblehead I want to be able to add freon to my R134 refrigerator. I have paid to have a saddle valve/charge port added. How to convert auto R134 to that saddle valve fitting

Assuming you bought r134a, they will fit...if you connect to the correct port. There are two ports on the ac lines and they are two different sizes.

Yes they still make them. R12 to R134a. The gas is not compatible, Evacuate the R12 first. If there is any in it.

Aircondisher wont kick on

What is the year/make/model of your vehicle?

This problem could be as easy as needing an R134a recharge, or as complicated as the A/C compressor needing to be replaced. Visit your local auto-parts store for pricing/advice on both recharging and replacing.

Basic: How do I re-charge 1989 toyota corolla air conditioning system.freon re-charger ket how to install.

Unfortunately, the R-12 refrigerant that your compressor used was phased out on 1994. You will need to an Automotive A/C Shop to have the system evacuated, flushed, vacuumed, retrofitted and charged with R134a refrigerant. This job requires the use of specialized equipment and according to EPA regulations must be performed by a licensed HVAC Technician.
Once your system was retrofitted, if you ever need to re-charge refrigerant. All autoparts carry easy to use, instructions included, R134a refrigerant recharge kits.
Good Luck!! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa.

Equinox 2005, Air Conditioner blows hot air when car is idling then resumes cold air when car is moving. What could be causing this issue?

Most likely it needs to have the freon recharged. This is very common with R134A systems. You can do this yourself or have a shop do. Doing it yourself requires that you locate the Low pressure line, don't worry, the recharge can adapters will only fit the low pressure side, and to follow the directions on the can and watch the attached gauge. Over charging your AC is very bad and can cause very expensive damage. All the instructions you will need for using the recharge can will be printed on the can. Follow them. If you choose to do the job yourself you can get the recharge can with Hose and Gauge from Walmart, Auto Zone or just about any places you can get Oil, plugs and Oil Filters at.

(Frigidair refrigerator R134a system) 3 months after a new compressor was installed it stopped cooling, it leaked. I found and repaired the leak. Then bought some automotive R134a it had dye,conditioner,...

The stop leak probably stopped up your cap tube system and the filter drier. You can try by replacing the filter drier, vacuum the system to 500 microns and recharge. The automotive 134a is the same as any other 134a.
