Use some good 4 gauge wire to the amp and ground - and getcha some like 12 gauge speaker wire(MONSTERCABLE) I recommend using streetwires brand but any reputable shop around your town should have some good solid 4 gauge. Might want to invest in at least a 1 farad capacitor too if your lights start dimming when the bass hits you'll know its time for that cap-they're alot cheaper than a new alternator-good luck

I have a PPI PCX-2400 and want to power two TREO subs that handle 2500 watts apiece. What is the best way to ire the PPI to these subs so that I get as much power from the amp to the subs without causing...

That would depend on the impedance (resistance) of the subs. Your best bet would be to use the full power of the amp to one channel (i.e. bridged) instead of to two separate channels (i.e. stereo). Two 4 ohm subs wired in parallel would present a 2 ohm load to the amp, which should allow you to get all 1600w out of it.

This explains series vs parallel quite well:

LPI, PPI,DPI conversions

Here is a conversion chart for DPI (Dots per inch) to LPI (Lines per inch) or PPI (Pixels per inch)

180 DPI................31 lines/inch or 68 PPI
360 DPI................63 lines/inch or 138 PPI
720 DPI................127 lines/inch or 280 PPI
1440 DPI..............255 lines/inch or 561 PPI
2880 DPI..................510 lines/inch or 1122 PPI

If you plan to enlarge your image, it is better to enlarge it when you're scanning rather than in your application. Each time you modify
an image, you lose some quality. Keep in mind when you enlarge a small photo, such as a 35 mm slide or wallet-size photo, you'll need
to scan at a high enough resolution to retain your image quality, but not so high that your file size is too large to be efficient. You must
manually adjust the resolution (dpi) to maintain the same image quality when you resize your image. For example, if you have a 300
dpi 2 x 2-inch image that you want to enlarge to 4 x 4 (a factor of 200%), increase the Scale setting to 200% or change the resolution to 600 dpi.

Hello, need to know how i should wire a single 14" sub spk to my ST4-720 ??

havent heard of too many 14" speakers... but it all depends on what ohm the speaker is. single 4 ohm- bridge it on one set of channels. left + right- . if its a dual 4 ohm i wouldnt reccomend using it at all. you could technically bridge each coil on each set of channels. but it may not sound right. kinda hard to set the gains and match them. dual 2 ohm- run the sub stereo. one coil to one channel, the other coil to the other channel. single 2 ohm. dont use it unless you get another sub like what you have. then run it stereo. one sub to one channel. the other sub to the other channel.

What is the most likely reason for my Powershot G10 shooting at only 180ppi? Thanks.

You have it set to RAW for TIFF
First of all, I am assuming that when you say ppi you mean Pixels per
inch. If you take 2272 and divide that by picture size of 10", you
will be printing at about 227 ppi. PPI has to do with the printed
size. When printing in Photo shop, go to Image Size. Uncheck
"constrain proportions", and "resample image". When you enter the doc
size you will see the ppi it will print at.

ppi is not an intrinsic property of a digicam image. All cameras
output a default image size (where??--in the EXIF data?). which then
sets a ppi value.

What counts going in to Photoshop is the filesize in pixels. You can
set any print size you want.

I generally print at 250 - 300 ppi, but you can get pretty good
results down to 150. Upsampling will smooth out jaggies but will not
increase resolution.

How to bridge a ppi amp

Hello,

The PCX-1500 is a single channel amp, it can't be bridged. I realize that it has two sets of speaker outputs but electrically it only has one output. The connections are actually paralleled inside. Electrically it only has one output. Physically there are just two sets of terminals to allow more convenient connection of 2 speakers. You can use either one or both. If you use both you need to take into account that they're parallel to each other. Connect 4 ohms to each set the amp sees 2 ohms. Like wise with 2 ohms to each set, the amp sees 1 ohm.

Hope this helps.

Cant figure out where to connect the remote wire to

The Remote Wire Connects to the Blue Wire From the Stereo If you have an Aftermarket Stereo. This will control the Amps Power with the Ignition Start and Accessory Positions.

Sub hook up to PPI D3000 amp

I'm not familiar with this amplifier but in most cases, if a mono amp has more than one positive speaker terminal and more than one negative speaker terminal, the positives are directly connected and the negatives are directly connected. So  as long as you connect the speaker positive to a positive speaker terminal of the amp and the speaker negative to a negative speaker terminal of the amp, it will work properly.

Need help in wiring speakers to amp.

The right speaker will connect to the R+ and R- terminals and the left speaker will connect to the L+ and L- terminals. Only one speaker per connection. If both speakers are not exactly the same brand, part number, size, etc. then they may NOT sound the same. Be sure to watch the polarity of the speakers so they don't interfere with each other. I.E. speaker + to amp + etc. Good luck.
