Question about Dell XPS M170 Notebook
My XPS m170 laptop got a virus, so I was made to erase my operating system and reinstall. However, I allowed someone else to do it instead of doing it myself (which was a big mistake)and now the laptop wont recognize sd cards at all. Could it be a driver that wasn't reinstalled? What should I do?
Try installing the chipset driver. you can download it at support.dell.com.
also check device manager if you have any item that has a yellow "!" that means that you are missing a driver for that device.
