Question about Evolis Pebble 3 ID Card Printer Package (P/N MIDS-E-SC)

Evolis pebble 3 displays mechanical problem error?

When attempting to print (even a test card), it sounds as though no parts inside the printer do any moving or adjusting. then, the printer displays the lighting pattern for a mechanical error. ive tried to research solutions to the problem but have not discovered anything helpful.

any ideas? what components are most likely to go bad?

Try cleaning your printer first using the Evolis A5011 Cleaning Kit. If the line is solid and goes across the length of the card, you might have a burned/damaged pixel. Check with Evolis or your Evolis Card Printer supplier for warranty information, your printhead might still be under warranty.

Dear Sir,

Evolis pebble4 printer is a single side card printer . It doesn't has mechanism to flip the card.
If you want to flip the card automatically you must go for Evolis Dualys or higher model.

My Evolis Pebble 3 ink ribbon breaks after I print 2 cards.


First clean Rollers and print head . Check if you have increased luminosity and contrast too much in printer Graphic properties. If this doesn't solves your problem increase x offset little bit using Px;+ command in Dialog with printer

Clean all transport rollers . check for X offset by giving Rx command in Properties/Tools/dialoge with printers. Increase offset little bit using Px command

Evolis pebble 3 is printing very dark and then has large yellow and magenta spots


Check for luminosity and contrat settings in properties/graphic/more options
If you have replaced print head enter its serial number properly.

My Evolis Pebble 3 says feeder error but there is not. It won't pick up a card when you try to print but when you press the push button it feeds out a card without printing. It will alos not print a test...


You must take following approach
1. There is a lever at feeder for thickness adjustment . Check it for proper thickness.
2. There is a hanging lever which acts as a card presence detector just where you place cards check if it is stuck and try to clean sensors aside it by blowing air .
3.Check if feeder motor is working by giving Mf;+ command
4.Check for proper ribbon setting.
5. Try downloading firmware which is available as an exe file for different models on Evolis site.
6. diagnostic software is also available on site.
7. You can also do self adjustment to adjust sensors.

Evolis Pebble 3 printer: the varnish is being put on as black


Check if ribbon type is proper.
Do self adjustment at once.
Clean optical sensors emitting blue light just below you install ribbon in printer

Patchy printing


Problem is with either with cards or with print head's mechanical alignment. Try with some different cards and for head get it tested by some authorised service person.

Evolis pebble 3 ribbon problem


Hi, did you change the ribbon type at the printer properties? You must choose the black ribbon or monochrome in old drivers.
