You will need two STK392-120 convergence IC and about six 6.8 ohm 1watt convergence resistors you can get the parts at the following link and they provide free step by step instructions with pics.

Philips 43p8341/37, The menu does not appear on the screen when selected by either the remote or the unit, also the picture is bowed at the top and the bottom of the screen making the center of the...

The board you will be working on is the signal module. The signal module is the board on the floor of the TV. When you locate the RCA connections and the RF connectors on the back of the TV, you will know that you are where you should be. You will see two large silver fins, these fins are heat sinks and two ICs are attached to them. They will be STK-392-110, and both will need replaced. Also check and measure the 6.8 ohm 2 watt resistors next to these ICs just mentioned. Should be ten or eleven resistors. Replace as necessary. The next problem you describe is a halo effect on the screen and no menu on screen. You will need to replace contaminated fluid in one of the picture tubes. You will find three picture tubes, lit, they are red, green, and blue. I would suspect the blue has the contaminated fluid. You may look in the tubes and decide which one is cloudy. For more detailed instructions and photos, I would suggest you see the website, H ave your TV model number and symptoms near by. You can purchase a kit or kits to restore your TV. The instructions are very detailed along with photos as how to repair. Thanks for asking and show all hands of support!

Look for the STK ICs mounted on 2 big heatsinks.
I would suggest to replace both of them once you have the TV taken apart.
I think the part markings are STK392-040.
