You need to make sure the yellow wire is going to a constant power source. That is a source that still has 12v going to it when the key is turned off. The yellow wire controls the memory for the clock and preset stations.

Ive got the radio problem, having to remove the radio fuse each time I get out of the car - its the blue 15amp on the top row of the fuse board. As for fixing it, heard its either down to the radio switch or diode? Taking mine to garage though.
Sounds like you may have burned a part of the wiring loom! or some units have in-line fuses to protect againt current surges, turn the radio over and look for fuses on the back. perhaps there are in-line fuses behind the radio in the loom!
you can only start the car starter three time before pcm disables the function must start agin with key to get working. also may have diabled car starter by dic comands on radio also if you have engine light on will not operate car starter due to light.
