Question about Gateway M-6750 Notebook
1 in a box has appeared on my laptop display and incorrect keys are appearing.
Just hit the NumLock key on the top right hand side of the keyboard and it should return to normal.

Examine your keyboard to ensure your "Number Lock" key is not activated.
This activation is indicated by the key being lit up.
If the key is activated, press it to deactivate the lock.
The number lock key will deactivate an entire segment of your keyboard
Start, click Run, and type regedit to open the Windows registry editor.
In the registry, open the below folders.
Within the keyboard folder, you should have a string value named "InitialKeyboardIndicators" with a value of 0, 1, or 2. Below is the explanation of each of these values.
0 = Num Lock is turned OFF after the logon.
1 = Disable Num Lock.
2 = Numlock is turned ON after the logon.
