Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I was wondering what the extra wire is for attached to the audio connections. It looks like a speaker wire. Regarding the marantz TT 2200 turntable. I'm finding that the sound only traveles through one speakeer itsead of 2. thanks Jeff
The bare stripped wire is for grounding the turntable to the receiver to eliminate any hum sound. If after connecting both phono plugs, you only get sound from one channel on the turntable but sound plays out of both channels on all other inputs then replace the phono plugs as this is the most likely problem.
