Malber P25 washing machine - "on" button won't stay on
All of a sudden we are having a weird problem with our Malber P25 washer. When you press the "on" button in, the indicator light will come on briefly and then the button will immediately pop back out. There don't appear to be any issues with the door latch, which I've read is a common cause of problems with this machine. The machine still works fine - if we tape the button down in the "on" position then it will run through a whole cycle, it's just annoying and a little bit disconcerting.

I have a P25 door I can sell you. If you need only a part of it, like the outer white plastic "cover" ring, I could provide only that.
If you'd feel better about it, we could do this thru eBay (and you could use their escrow). Otherwise, we'll figure out shipping costs (~$15) and you can mail me a check. I'd like $40 for the door.

This is a common problem with Malber. On the lower right hand corner, there's a door with a lint filter. This filter needs to be cleaned on a regular basis. Be careful when removing the filter. It has a large rubber gasket that expands when it's installed and tightened and will offer some resistance when removing. When the filter becomes clogged, water backs up and forces it's way out through the filter.
You will need to make sure it is level. With the machine off rotate the plugs till the washing machine is level. If that doesn't work, you will need vibratins pads under the feet to stop the vibration and allow it to cycle normally.
I'm not familiar with that particular brand, but it looks like a eurotech, and we sell those pulleys by the truckload. They are made of a similar material and break if you look at them funny. You may however, check that the inner tub does not move up and down if you reach inside the wash area and push up on the inner tub. If it does, you have bearing problems and are going to need some serious work, otherwise replace the pulley and it should be fine. Hope this helps!
